  I have the Jenni Bowlin tab punch just hiding in my drawers and it’s always a hassle to take out for just making one tab for a page. So I figured…print out the words that I use the most and punch them out. I printed them in black and a few other colors. Love how it turns out. Was super quick and easy too.
     I don’t even know where to start with the cameo. The cuts are unbelievable. It cuts through my cardstock and photo paper. Cuts came out really clean and all I have to do is to peel it off from the mat. Getting it out of the mat was surprisingly easy too with intricate cuts. I made a few handwritten designs using Skitchy on my iPad, saved it to .jpg in photoshop and use the trace tool in the silhouette studio. I’m still in awe at what it’s capable of..the fact that it cuts through thick card stock cleanly and it cuts out my handwriting. Yes, my handwriting! So I’ve just been cutting away..not making my pages yet.

Thank you. I will upload the files soon :) Doing this post from my iPad using the app Blogsy. Just discovered it and it’s super convenient. I’ve been using snapseed too, to edit my photos. So I’ve just got the Folio smash book and I have to say I love the inside pages more than the smaller green smash. With the plastic sleeves and envelopes included inside…and of course the size..!! can’t wait to play around with it. April been real sweet. May didn’t start out so well..hopefully things get better next week with me having more time to play around with the cameo, folio smash and studio calico’s May kit. + 1 comment

You know these pages are wonderful! I have 2 smash books–both are empty. They just scream at me to fill them, but I am drawing a huge blank!!!!! Yours are so full of life and creativity. Let me come see with you eyes for a bit won’t you?!! LOL. Nice.
not sure what to write lately. so don’t mind me if you come here and see photos only. I used mostly Studio Calico April kit for these…love the greens yellows pink hues, with a hint of amber brown. currently: just received a phone call from DHL..silhouette cameo on the way. no comments |
